Parylene has outstanding properties in terms of anti-corrosion protection (against water, acids, and bases), electrical resistance, and acting as a diffusion barrier. The huge gap-penetration capability and perfectly conformal layers result in coating properties that cannot be achieved with conventional processes.
Even sensitive components can be coated using this technology, since the processes occur at moderate temperatures.
